The power teams on top yet again
Australia beat the West Indies. Lara stood up a good fight with 77 runs but the West Indies fell short against the powerhouse Australia.
Sri Lanka depended on their bowlers to fight off South Africa. It was looking good but at the last moment SA went through by one wicket.
Malinga had 4 wickets in 4 balls, that's the highlight of the day!

Greg Chappell not happy
"Even in the last selection meeting, I fought for youth. The senior players fought against it and the chairman went with them out of fear of media, if youth did not perform," Chappell wrote in his SMS to cricket write Rajan Bala.
So let the excuses begin! This is the first of many to come my friends. This coach says that he "fought for youth" to be included in the Indian World Cup squad but the senior players faought against him! If this is true Chappell then you are my hero! Chappell also said that Dinesh Karthik (wicketkeeper and batsman) had leadership material.
India needs to stop this media supported cricket because if this continues there will be no cricket team to be proud of. You will have many more suicides and heart attacks. I am dead serious!!!

Hayden's century helps Australia
Matthew Hayden's 158 against the West Indies puts Australia in a comfortable spot with 322 for 6. The match is being delayed due to rain but Australia have played their 50 overs. I guess the match will have to continue tommorow because the latest they can play until is 5:45PM.
Brian Lara and the boys need be in top shape if they want to get even close to that huge 322!

Pak team not suspects
Mark Shields, the deputy commisioner of Jamaican Police, said that Pakistan is no longer suspects in Woolmer's death.
"I have got no evidence to suggest it was anybody in the squad" said Shields.
The police will be reviewing CCTV tapes to further help them in solving this case.
Jeff Rees the anti-corruption chief investigator will look at tapes of Ireland-Pakistan match to find any link between the result and Woolmer's death.
Let's just hope they find the killer fast.
